Simplification of administration tasks

• A member, on logging in, can update his or her contact details online.
• New members, by applying online, will create their own record on the database, saving administation time.
• The editor may send an email to all members simply by typing the message into a text field and pressing send. The mail will be formatted and sent automatically to all members in the database.
• By centralising member records in this manner, the ground will be laid for possible extensions to the system, including, for example, online credit card payment of membership and conference fees. By careful integration of these features, non-payment and late payment of subscriptions could be reduced.
